Connecting to Tomorrow
Connecting to Tomorrow Internship and Workplace Inclusivity Initiative.
The Sagadahoc County Working Communities Challenge Initiative with support from United Way of Mid Coast Maine (“United Way”) and the Bath Brunswick Topsham Regional Chamber (“Chamber”) invites you to celebrate the Connecting to Tomorrow Internship and Workplace Inclusivity Initiative (“Initiative”).
Over the next decade, our generationally-changing workforce requires businesses and organizations to adapt their policies, mindsets, and work processes in order to continue to thrive. Over the past few months students from RSU1, MSAD75, Brunswick, and Richmond Schools have been interning at, and interviewing businesses who are Connected to Tomorrow.
Join us for a celebration at Union + Co on Wednesday, May 21, from 5 to 7 PM, where we'll premiere videos highlighting these businesses and hear from our interns. Food and beverages will be provided, and all ages are welcome!
For questions, please contact maggiec@uwmcm.org.

Improving the air sealing, insulation, or performance of our homes can help us ride out longer power outages and more drastic weather. In this session, we will talk about how to renovate and maintain our homes in response to the climate impacts we are seeing in Maine now. The discussion will also cover choices that can be considered to reduce the climate impact of the materials we choose and the extent of the renovation we take on.
