MEET MARIA

One of my passions is supporting families during the perinatal time. Preparing to build a family, being pregnant, and adjusting to parenthood are pivotal life experiences. Varying doses of uncertainty, anxiety, fear, loss, grief and depression can often get mixed into this time of life, no matter how rewarding it can be. After many years of providing birth doula services and childbirth education to new parents, I appreciate weaving the knowledge, wisdom and insight from those experiences into a now decade-long perinatal social worker and psychotherapy career. A 2023 private practice launch led me recently to rent a Union + Co office - the perfect space to see clients via telehealth.

Passions + Hobbies

Walking in the woods solo and with good friends, biking with my hubby, doing anything with our late-20s son and daughter, connecting with extended family and friends around deep conversations and laughter, exploring anywhere new or known, staring at the ocean.

Fun Fact about You: I was raised in Lancaster County, PA where the largest population of Amish live in the world.

To be around other humans in between sessions. To learn from other members. To work in a beautiful space. To explore Bath whenever possible!
