MEET KATRINA

I am a certified, freelance bookkeeper and a member of the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers. In 2015 I started KGBookkeeping, where I help small businesses organize their finances.

Some of the services I provide are: Reconciliations; Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Data entry; Quickbooks Clean-up; Sales Tax Reporting; Payroll; and Budget Planning.

While originally from Michigan, my family roots extend from the East Coast, most heavily in Maine. I earned a bachelor’s degree in history, but it quickly became clear from my love of organizing, puzzle solving, and curiosity of all things finance that I was destined to become a bookkeeper.

Passions + Hobbies

During my free time I love to read, take my dog on mini-adventures, try new restaurants around the state, and when it's warm enough, relax at the beach!

Fun Fact about You: When I was young, I lived in Thailand for a year through a student exchange program.

Why do you use Union + Co?

I adore my office in the Union + Co annex! Though I keep my door open when I'm there, the private space where I can spread out to work helps me to focus and accomplish my work more efficiently.
