MEET ERIK 

I do all things technology. Mostly focused around online video. I have also done a lot of sports tech, including projects with the NFL, the EPL and I ran all technology for the short lived Alliance of American Football. My business develops monetization tools for online video.

How did you get started?

I had a friend in college back in the 1980s who was doing an interactive video disc project for her thesis. I helped and learned a lot about merging video and computers. Eventually because of that experience I was hired by a startup called ICTV which was one of the first interactive television companies.

Passions + Hobbies

I sail. I did the singlehanded transpacific race in 2002 and 2004 on my Santa Cruz 40. My current boat is a Pacific Seacraft 37 that I keep at Robinhood. Barebow archery. I was the 2019 US National Champion in field archery in the barebow class. I was also on the 2017 US national team in 3D archery and shot at the world championships in Robion, France. I work on our old house on Washington street. The oldest part was built in 1829, most of it was built in 1850. The third floor was added in 1890. There are always 1,000 projects that need to get done.  I cook.

Fun Fact: I met my wife performing in opera.
